The complete service, survey, design, architectural plans, build, interior fit out and project management.

We successfully obtained planning permission to demolish approximately 40% of the existing dwelling and increase the overall area by a further 20% by building an extension over the demolished footprint to create a vast family home.

We had to work to a dedicated time frame and with a great deal of care due to the properties attraction to those nocturnal creatures known as bats, every step of the demolition had to be monitored and the reinstatement of the structure was crucial for the hibernation roost.

The works involved the complete renovation of the existing part of the property with a new layout and the removal of a number of structural walls to accommodate this, the extension was built cautiously due to its close proximity to the boundary bank which dropped down to the main road, this meant that on one elevation we had to use a cantilevered ring beam to pick up this section of the build and where the new building met the existing there was significant underpinning required to support the ageing original structure.

The internal fit out was a complete design and build project ever evolving with our clients needs and vision.
